A statement by the club’s spokesman, Rilwani Malikawa, said
the two coaches would assist the club’s Technical Adviser, Babaganaru
Muhammad.
It said the appointments were approved by the club’s
management board at its emergency meeting held at the club secretariat
in Kano on Wednesday.
“The appointment of the two assistant
coaches was as part of management’s efforts to boost the club’s
technical department in order to meet the challenges ahead,” the
statement quoted Malikawa as saying.
He was further quoted as saying the coaches have been directed to work closely with Muhammad.
“The
management urged them (the coaches) to dedicate themselves to the
progress of the club in all areas, and especially in the ongoing
2015/2016 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).”
The new assistant coaches were expected to join the team on Thursday at their training ground at the Pillars Stadium in Kano.
