A phone call apology from rapper Kanye West is apparently not enough to placate Wiz Khalifa following their public feud.
In case you missed it, Wiz and ‘Ye were enmeshed in a bitter Twitter face-off in January when the latter misinterpreted Wiz’ ‘KK’ post as a disrespect to his wife, Kim Kardashian.
Although Kanye reportedly called Wiz to apologize upon realization of
his mistake, Wiz still feels ‘Ye had said too much to be brushed off –
as he had involved his ex-wife Amber Rose and 3-year-old son Sebastian.
‘I don’t feel like I really went at him,’ Wiz said of the incident in a new interview with the Breakfast Club. ‘That was his bad.’
‘He apologized,’ Wiz further said. ‘I wouldn’t
necessarily say it’s squashed though because when you see him talk about
it, it doesn’t add up to what he said to me on the phone, so I just
don’t even…’ Wiz added, trailing off.
When further put on a spot by one of the show’s hosts about his likeness for Kanye, Wiz replied: ‘Do I like him? Who would in that situation?’
The ‘Black and Yellow’ rapper also touched on Amber’s claim that Kanye loved taking it up his butt with the tweet, ‘Awww @kanyewest are u mad I’m not around to play in ur a–hole anymore? #FingersInTheBootyA–Bitch.’
‘Did I hear that story before?…That’s my wife. She tells me
everything…Whatever she tells me is in conversation, in the comfort of
our own home. I’m not going to tell nobody, she’s not going to tell
nobody. It’s our business,’ Wiz said of the tweet.
