Hugh Jackman's Final Wolverine Movie To Be Scored By Cliff Martinez

 

Composer Cliff Martinez has signed on to score James Mangold's currently untitled but in-production Wolverine sequel.

Martinez's latest project, The Neon Demon, is currently playing in theaters worldwide. Later this year, we'll hear his work in the Jonah Hill/Miles Teller lead War Dogs and Martin Campbell's The Foreigner which stars Pierce Brosnan and Jackie Chan.. His other notable efforts include Drive, The Lincoln Lawyer, and Contagion.

The Wolveirne sequel will be Hugh Jackman's last go

as the titular mutant hero. Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Eriq La Salle and Elise Neal are all signed on to co-star. Plot details have been extremely scarce but many are suspecting a variation of the iconic Old Man Logan comic book story.

David James Kelly writes the film's screenplay with Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Martian) and Lauren Schuler Donner (X-Men franchise, Deadpool) producing. 

The Wolverine 3 is set for release March 3, 2017.
