As many in the US are taking a break this weekend for the July 4
holiday, it's a pretty good bet some are enjoying the vacation
playing the mobile app, "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood."
The free-to-play role-playing game created by Glu Mobile in 2014
became an instant hit. Players attempt to raise their fame
from E-List to the coveted A-List at rapid speed — just like the
socialite after whom the game is named.
But Wired has figured out just how much we are on
the app. According to the tech outlet, the game has been
downloaded more than 45 million times in the two years it's
been in existence and people have clocked in just shy of 16
billion minutes of gameplay.
That comes out to 30,342 years inside "Kim Kardashian:
Hollywood," according to Wired.
Cosmopolitan points out that if you break
down the time spent with the 45 million downloads, that's about
an average of six hours per person.
Though all that means is there's still time left in the day to
indulge in other parts of the Kardashian empire — like her social
media and television show.
